Marie ‘2 Air’ Leclerc

Marie is from Quebec and started kiteboarding in 2002. She has pushedElevation Kiteboarding Marie Leclerc kiteboarding limits and established Elevation Kiteboarding as a premier school on the west coast. She has been teaching since 2005 and has taught hundreds of students with her attention to detail, safe and positive approach. Her teaching techniques and uplifting attitude have inspired and educated many of the people you will meet at Nitinaht Lake and in La Ventana. Mark ‘Skimalotti’ Bavis

Mark comes from a background of sailboat racing on the coast of NewElevation Kiteboarding Mark Bavis Brunswick. With a move to British Columbia in 1996 Mark then devoted himself to snowboarding and his two dogs. As kites became available in 2000 Mark saw the potential for combining his sailing and riding skills to become a kiteboarding pioneer. Since then Mark has consistently traveled from BC to Baja excelling at freestyle moves such as kiteloops and handlepasses, kitesurfing in good sized waves. More recently Mark has been testing the limits of strapless kiteboarding with a skimboard which is a whole new skill level you must check out.

Robin Bowles

Robin comes from the UK and has been kiteboarding since 2002 and an Elevation Kiteboarding Robin BowlesIKO instructor since 2004. Robin has a skillful background in skateboarding, snowboarding and is known for his big floating air style of kiteboarding. He has devoted thousands of hours to freestyle riding and living on the west coast and has logged hundreds of teaching hours on the beach and with the jet ski assisted teaching programe. Robin can be found on the beach with his dog Lucky whenever it’s windy.

Kristine Arsens

Kristine is from Vancouver Island and comes from a background of Elevation Kiteboarding Kristine Arsenswakeboarding instructor on Shawinigan Lake. She has been kiteboarding since 2005 and has logged hundreds of hours since becoming an IKO instructor in 2008. She is a key instructor in the popular ‘Girls Camps’ and can take you from the trainer kite, the ground class to your jet ski assisted body dragging and first water start lessons. She is a great instructor and has become a key member of the Elevation kiteboarding team.
