Report from La Ventana Classics

Once again Tim from Palapas Ventana and Marina Chang form the kiteboarder magazine put together an amazing event.

With the support of the kiteboarding community and all of you who participated, check out the list of all the good things we accomplished all together.

Here is a list of all the good things that were done with the money from the classics:

El Sargento Primary – shelves for library, elcectrical system revamp in prep for installing air conditioning
El Sargento Kindergarten – giant whiteboard, recreation area patio
Community Health Center – new fence and gate
La Ventana Kindergarten – playground equipment
La Ventana Primary – paint the perimeter fence and plant 38 trees
Jr High El Sargento – sporting equipment for girls and team uniforms, AC repair
Jr High Los Planes – new copy machine / printer
El Sargento community – reset tires on perimeter of baseball field
El Sargento community – diesel credits for the garbage truck
Police Station – walls for new station in entrance of town
El Sargento Marineros Baseball Team – new uniforms
Baja Paws – credit to neuter / spay 10 local dogs
10 tons of trash removed during No Mas Basura campaign and 1000 stickers distributed with design by Cynthia Brown

To all the ladies that came to the Ladie’s Day on Cerralvo Island, check out the picture of the girls and their soccer outfit. They look so proud and happy.

Lets do it again, the dates for next year are Jan 19-22.
