The Distance with Assistance!

Our assisted downwinders have been so helpful for everyone after their kiteboarding lessons or people that can ride but not stay upwind.
Don’t want to do the walk of shame ? Come to Nitinaht and sign up with us for a kilometer downwinder all the way to the bottom of Nitinaht Lake. With watercraft assistance you have someone there for support and all the room to work on your board skills. For $55 if you have your own gear or rent ours for $80 per downwinder. The downwinder lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. Ride with your friends, we can take up to 5 people in our jet boat.
Email us to reserve your spot. It’s really good for busy weekends. You can get away from the crowds.

Hi, not sure if you remember me but I took lessons in La Ventana in December. Completed the ground school and the downwind body drag and could not go farther because the wind quite my last two days there.
So, in May I went to Real Kiteboarding in NC to attend their 3 day kite camp. Took a private lesson the day before the camp so I was up to speed for the camp. Attended one day of the camp and was then sick in bed for the next four days from some bug I caught on the airplane and was not able to finish the remaining two days of the camp.
At this point I can get up on the board to the left and rode several hundred yards before I tried to change directions and fell. I can get up to the right but have not went too far in that direction.
Based on that do you think I would be able participate in your assisted downwind ride?
Please forward info on Nitinaht. Water/air temp, a good time to attend, lodging etc.
My luck with learning this sport has not been too hot so far but I want to give it one more shot.
