UPDATES ON LA VENTANA

I know it has been a while since i wrote. It has been a pretty busy couple months here at Baja Joe’s. The end of 2008 was really good, november was super warm this year, riding in shorts and bathing suits every day. Then we had a few more days off in december but wow january so far has been amazing. What a good start for 2009. So far this month we have had one day off. We have been kiteboarding for 7 days straight this week and had some of the biggest swell i had ever seen here in La Ventana. Kiting with my 5 meter most of the days this week, and the waves got to 8 to 10 feet tall, it was awesome. Lots of good riders here right now also. Really good entertainment on the water.

We have been doing kiteboarding lessons here every windy day so far. Lots of beginners here in la Ventana. La Ventana is for sure one of the best places to learn to kiteboard. We have really consistent winds, flat or choppy water and steady wind. We also have the best sandy beach here at Baja Joe’s.
We just finished a girls camp that was a really good turn out. We Had 9 girls for 3 days and they all did so good.
