BRIDGE OF THE GODS COMPETITION

Last weekend was the Bridge Of The Gods even in Stevenson, Washington. It was an awesome event. Started on friday the 25th with a picture competition at Stevenson followed by a Tiki party at the Bolstad’s awesome place up in the mountains. Thanks to Carol and Tony for (getting everyone wasted before the comp! ), for hosting and all the kids for doing the work and the cleanup.
On the saturday at Stevenson the freestyle event took place. Hot and sunny, the wind blew in the 20s. Could not have been better. The event was really well organised, with 9 minutes heat for the first round. And a 15 minutes heats for the finals.

There was a junior division, which impressed everybody, they are ready to take over for next year for sure.

Ricardo Stein was 2nd
John Perre took 3rd place
Adam Shankland 4th

Then was the mens division.
The men level of riding was impressive. So many tricks in so little time. From high aerial handlepasses, to skimboard riding. Congrats to all the guys.

In the women’s division….i was impress on how many girls went in. A lot of good girl action in the hood. It is nice to see.

I got to say the women’s heat were a blast. All the girls encouraging each other and having a good time riding.

All in all it was an awesome event. Lots of people showed up.
Good riders. good organisation, good DJ.
